Hide Add-on Products

Step 1: Find Aris add charge

When creating an Add charge product with Aris, our app will automatically generate the "Aris-add-charge" Type. Please check and add this Type to all Add Charge products you have created.

Step 2: Create a new collection without Aris Add charge

Step 2.1 From the Shopify admin page, click Products > Collections.

Step 2.2 In the Collection, create a new collection named “All products“.

Set the condition to remove products with the Product type “Aris-add-charge” as below: “Type” – “is not equal to” – “Aris-add-charge”.

Step 2.3 Scroll down to the Search engine listing preview part, and click Edit web SEO.

Step 2.4 In the URL handle field, enter “all“.

Step 2.5 Click Save to finish.

Step 1: Open Settings

Step 1.1 From your Shopify admin, go to Settings

Step 1.2 In Settings, navigate to Metafields and metaobjects → Products

Step 2: Add definition

Step 3: Select type -> Integer

Step 5: Fill in the information below and hit "Save"

• Name: SEO Hidden > Hit the tag "custom.seo_hidden"
• Namespace and key: seo.hidden
• Minimum value: 1
• Maximum value: 1

If you run into an Error message stating that the the seo.hidden metafield hasbeen used somewhere already, you can use the link below to continue.

Step 1: Find Aris add charge

• In your Shopify admin, go to Products
• Filter products by Type = “Aris-add-charge”

Step 2: Bulk edit

Step 2.1 Select all add-on products ⇒ Click Bulk edit

Step 2.2 Click Columns, scroll down, and select Meta description (SEO)

Step 3: Add meta description

In the Meta description field, enter:

Step 4: Save changes
