Translate Aris options
Step 1: Prepare Your Store#
Before you translate your options, you need to ensure your store is set up to support multiple languages:
- Add Languages in Shopify
- Go to Shopify Settings > Languages.
- Add the languages you want to offer in your store.
- Publish the languages so they are available for use.

- Install a Translation App
Use a compatible translation app to help manage your store’s content, you can consider Shopify Translate & Adapt, Transcy, or Transtore - Language Translate.
These apps allow you to translate your store’s text, including the options created in the Aris app.
Step 2: Translate Options in Aris#
Once your store is ready, follow these steps to translate your product options:
2.1 Select the translate button

2.2 Pick the Target Language
From the dropdown menu, select the language into which you want to translate the options.

2.3 Enter Translations
For each option in the set, enter the translated text in the provided fields including Label on product, Label on cart, and Option values.

2.5 Save Your Translations
After entering all translations, click the Save button to apply the changes.

2.6 Double Check Your Store
- Visit your online store and switch to the target language using the language selector.
- Verify that the translated options appear correctly and are consistent with the rest of your store’s content.
Translation for App Settings#
In addition to translating option content, you can also translate app settings text (such as button labels and messages) to match your store’s languages.
⚠️ Note: App settings are in English by default.
If your store supports multiple languages, you will need to translate these manually.
Where to find this setting
- Go to Settings in Aris Product Options
- Select Localization
- Click Translate setting
