Add Aris Options to Shopify Draft Orders

3 min read Updated Jul 24, 2026

Overview#

With Aris Product Options, you can create Shopify draft orders and add custom options directly from the Aris app. This is useful when you want to manually create a draft order for a customer while still keeping the selected product options and add-on prices.

How to access Draft Orders in Aris#

From your Shopify admin, go to:

Apps > Aris Product Options > Draft orders

On this page, you can view all draft orders created through Aris, including their draft number, date, status, number of items, total price, and quick action button.

You can also filter draft orders by status:

  • Invoice sent

Notes#

  • Aris options can only be added to products that already have option sets assigned in the app.
  • If an option has an add-on charge, the price will be calculated and added to the draft order item price.
  • Some option types that are used to redirect or transfer customers between pages, such as Group Product and Option URL, do not work with Shopify draft orders.
  • Allowed Option URL can still work with draft orders, as this option type allows the product to be added to cart.
  • The draft order is synced with Shopify, but final order actions such as invoice, payment, shipping, taxes, and customer details should be completed in Shopify admin.
