Add Charge by Percentage

The Add Charge by Percentage feature allows you to increase the product price by a percentage instead of using a fixed amount.

For example, if a product costs $100 and you set an Add Charge of 20%, the additional charge will be $20, bringing the total product price to $120.

Step 1: Create an Option Set

From the Aris Option dashboard, create a new Option Set or open an existing one.

Step 2: Create an option

Add a new option to the Option Set, then enter the option name and its values.

Step 3: Choose Add Charge by Percentage

Find the option value that requires an additional charge. Open its pricing settings, select Add Charge, and choose Percentage (%) as the calculation type.

Enter the percentage you want to add to the product price.

Step 4: Assign products and save

Assign the Option Set to the products where you want the option to appear, then click Save.

Open the assigned product on your online store and select the option value. The additional charge will be calculated automatically based on the product price.

Note: Because the charge is calculated as a percentage of the product price, the additional amount may vary between products or variants with different prices.
