Overview#

Want to link separate products together under a single, unified swatch selector? With Aris Color Swatch, you can easily connect standalone product pages (like different colors or styles of the same item) and smoothly redirect shoppers when they click a swatch.

Follow this quick guide to set up your product groups in minutes!

Step 1: Go to Product Groups#

From your Dashboard, click Go to Product groups in the setup guide (or click Product Groups in the left sidebar menu).

Step 2: Create a New Group#

On the Product Groups page, click the Create product group button to open the setup form.Ư|

Step 3: Set Group Name & Label#

In the Product group setup section:

  • Product group name: Enter an internal name to easily identify this group (e.g., Color Variants or T-Shirt Group).

  • Label on product: Enter the customer-facing label that appears above the swatches on your storefront (e.g., Color, Style, or Related Products).

  • Configure how the group selector looks across your store:

    • Show on product page: Toggle ON and choose your preferred style (Button, Color / Image swatch, Dropdown menu, Swatch in button, Swatch in drop down menu, or Swatch with price).

    • Show on collection page: Toggle ON and select the swatch style for collection cards if desired.

Step 4: Select Products to Group#

  1. In Product selection, click the search box

  2. In the pop-up modal, search or browse your catalog and check the boxes for the standalone products you want to link together.

  3. Click Add to add them to your group.

Step 5: Save & Launch#

Click the Save button in the top right corner. Your product group is now live and ready to guide shoppers smoothly across your catalog!

Extra: Configure Selective Display Scope#

  1. Under Display on products, choose:

    • All products in this group (Recommended): Shows the selector across every product included in this group.

    • Selected products: Manually check which individual products show the selector.

💡 Pro Tip: Make sure the App Embed is enabled in your theme settings so your product groups render instantly on your storefront.
