Activate App
Overview#
Before your customers can enjoy beautiful swatches on your store, you need to enable the App Embed in your Shopify Theme settings.
Don't worry, this process takes less than a minute, requires zero coding, and is completely safe for your store's theme.
📍 Option 1: Automatic 1-Click Activation (Recommended)#
1. At the top of the dashboard, locate the activation banner and click Activate App Embed.
2. You will be automatically redirected to your Shopify Theme Editor with the AR Color Swatch Embed pre-selected.
3. Click Save in the top right corner of the Theme Editor.
That's it! Your app is now activated and ready to display swatches.
⚙️ Option 2: Manual Activation via Shopify Admin#
If you prefer to enable it directly within Shopify (Usually used for when you need to activate the app in Draft theme)
1. From your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Edit theme.
2. On the left sidebar menu, click the App Embeds icon (the third icon from the top). Search for AR Color Swatch in the list.
3. Toggle the switch to ON & Click Save in the top right corner.
💡 Pro Tip: If you ever switch to a new Shopify theme, simply repeat these quick steps on your new theme to re-enable swatches instantly!
